emily + brian // catalina view gardens wedding

I met with Emily a couple times leading up to the wedding and she would share with me little bits and pieces of how it was coming together – she would describe the romantic venue, the flowy bridesmaids’ dresses, the reception details. In my mind I conjured up the prettiest day, but I was still so in awe when I saw just how beautifully everything came together! I grew up just a few skips away from Palos Verdes and photograph there often, but since Cataliina View Gardens is relatively new, it was my first time photographing there. And to say it was stunning and now one of my most favorite places ever is an understatement! With expansive seaside views and pretty rustic details, it was such the perfect backdrop for Emily & Brian’s day.

You could feel the joy every moment of the day – from when they were getting ready, through the heartfelt ceremony, through dancing the evening away under the watercolor sky. These kinds of weddings make my hearts so full and I feel beyond blessed to have been there to document it!

{ christine + gary // bel air bay club wedding }

I remember leaving this wedding all smiles. It was one of those days where every little piece comes together so well, where there is so much positivity in every moment, where the day flows so effortlessly, that when it was time for me to pack up and go, I almost didn’t want to leave! It was something about the combination of an elegant seaside estate, a heartfelt ceremony, the sweetest collection of family & friends, an array of ombre bridesmaids dresses, a stellar team of vendors (thanks to Perfect Affairs Events, Juicebox Media, Kelly Zhang, and my awesome second shooter Diana!), and of course a fun and warmhearted couple.

I feel so blessed to have been there to document it and hope you enjoy these moments :)

{ sue + david // christmas house inn wedding }

I don’t know how I get so lucky, but seriously everything about this wedding & this couple was like a dream! Sue & David are laidback, hilarious, kind-hearted and oh so creative (you might remember their homemade fort engagement session!) and the types of people you just want to be friends with immediately. Their wedding was just as awesome as they are – bursting with prettiness & handmade details, coupled with a heavy dose of fun. When I imagine the types of weddings I most love to shoot and the types of people I most like to rendezvous with this, Sue & David and this amazing wedding are exactly what come to mind :)

Hope you enjoy this glimpse into their day!
