{ tiffany + jeremy | fogarty winery wedding }

I’d like to say, for the record, that Tiffany and Jeremy have been dating for ten wonderful years. But in every little moment together – the way they look at each other, the way they kiss, the way they laugh together – it’s like that exciting beginning butterflies/honeymoon/giddiness phase never left. I think it’s a wonderful thing to settle into comfortableness, the feeling of warmth, of quiet, of home. But it’s also a pretty amazing thing to see a couple who has spent so much time together be so enamored, so inspired by their love for each other, that they seem to see each other in every moment as if it’s the very first time.

The last time I was at Fogarty was in the fall {you can see that lovely wedding here!}, and it was fun to see the contrast between the bright golden leaves I had seen then and the pretty green vines that greeted us this time. I so love the rustic feel of vineyard weddings & Fogarty was such the perfect backdrop for Tiffany & Jeremy’s day! :)

Special thanks to William Kim for coming along & shooting with me!

Tiffany read a sweet poem to her mother before the ceremony, thanking her for all her years of love & support – it was such a touching moment –

{ heather + casey | LA river center wedding }

Heather & Casey’s wedding was truly intimate – less than 15 guests, gathered on a calm day in the middle of the week, tucked away in the lush & quiet gardens of the Los Angeles River Center. A candlelit dinner at Hatfield’s followed, including the loveliest little cake from King’s Hawaiian. (My family has been doing cakes from King’s for birthdays/special occasions/non-special occasions since I was a kid so you can imagine my excitement! :)

I so love sweet and cozy weddings like these, and felt so honored to be a part of their day!

{ hanaya + darren | la venta inn wedding }

I remember meeting Hanaya at Susina Bakery last summer, and immediately feeling like we had known each other for years. There is a chance that the berry white chocolate cake {aka heaven on a plate} was somehow contributing to my happy mood, but I’m pretty sure most of it was just because Hanaya was so sweet, awesome & down-to-earth. When a meeting just feels like a coffee date with a friend, you can bet that I always leave with all my fingers & toes crossed that they will book :)

And… they did! :) I feel so blessed to have been able to capture Hanaya & Darren’s gorgeous wedding at Wayfarers Chapel and the La Venta Inn. It was also my first time working with the girls of live.love.create events, a fantastic team of coordinators. They pulled everything together beautifully & also created some of the sweetest handmade details!

P.S. The balloon! From their engagement session! You can see it make a repeat appearance at the wedding at the end of the post :)
