I always get so so excited when couples decide to do their engagement sessions at home, a place that by default is filled with special memories, cozy corners, and a relaxing atmosphere. And it’s just an added bonus when their home happens to be as beautiful and bright as this one. Myesha & Craig’s house is perched up in those twisty hills of Silverlake, with ridiculous views of the city, a lush backyard, and the most lovely hand-picked pieces (be still my mid-century-modern-loving heart!) Walking in, holding my camera, I had a brief one of those moments – the ones where there is so much pretty everywhere {including the gorgeous couple!} and you have no idea where to start first. But we started with one colorful corner, and then moved along to another one, and in the end I drove home with a big smile and a memory card full of these photos. In addition to being fantastically stylish, Myesha and Craig are so fun and down-to-earth – can’t wait for their wedding in just a couple months!

Holy crap- when can I move in?! I knew I was going to love this when I saw them sitting in front of that gorgeous front door. Such a perfect couple in a perfect setting. They belong in a design magazine.

BEAUTIFUL! I’ve always heard Silverlake is one of LA’s coolest neighborhoods. They wear it SO well :)
