This wedding! You might as well cozy up with a cup of tea because this is going to be quite the post. But I promise you’ll love every last bit of it! Megan & Nevin wanted a day that incorporated both their cultures {Indian & British/American} and held two ceremonies, accompanied by an English tea and Indian dinner. There was an elephant, a procession of dancing to the altar, and a beautiful Hindu ceremony. There were opulent florals, long dessert tables, seersucker suits, and romantic vows. And to top it all off, there was the most lovely blush pink dress you ever did set your eyes on. The Ambassador Mansion, with its marble floors and wide green lawns, provided the perfect backdrop for this immensely romantic & jubilant day.

A huge thank you to Style Me Pretty for featuring this wedding! Head over to the post here to see & read more!

Oh hello bright happy colors! MaiKhanh & Jeff’s wedding was my last one for 2013 and it was the perfect way to end the year. They were married at the Alta Dena Country Club, surrounded by majestic purple mountains, and a group of their closest family and friends. They are one of the most laidback and fun couples I know and their day perfectly mirrored that, with pops of reds and oranges and an overabundance of Cuties adding to the happy decor! :) All the gorgeous florals were provided by Fleuretica, who happens to be both a close friend of the bride & groom’s and one of my most favorite florists. So dreamy!

Hope you enjoy this peek into their day!

How amazing is all the color in this wedding?? Proof that you don’t have to pick just one or two colors to base your day around, and that a rainbow of hues photographs amazingly! I had such a blast with Viviana and Michael at their engagement session that I knew their wedding would be just the same – relaxed, fun, and so about the love. They chose a Mexican theme for their day and executed it in a completely fresh and beautiful way, also making sure to incorporate traditional elements like the mariachi and a most delicious Mexican dinner buffet! I especially loved the papel picado that was strung overhead in both the indoor and outdoor spaces – so gorgeous!

I could seriously go on and on about this wedding, but I will let the images tell the story…
