Is this session the perfect little picture of summer or what? We photographed it at Molly’s pool and I love all the bright poppy colors, the fresh fruit & pretty margaritas, the sparkling water, and the whole loungy feel of it all! After working up an appetite, we headed to their favorite little pizza place, which they frequent at least once a month. I must say, clients who feed me pizza at the end of the session? A-okay in my book :)

Dear awesome couples like Janet and Jeff, with your ideas of wearing a perfect tutu {Janet used to do ballet!}, of bringing giant pastel balloons, and sparkling fun confetti: thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer! I can’t express how much I love whimsical and romantic sessions like these and always get so giddy when our styles & visions match so well. I loved all the ideas they had & the Pasadena City Hall proved to be the perfect place to bring them to life. The cherry on top – Janet and Jeff are seriously one of the most fun and laidback couples ever, I felt like we laughed through the whole 2 hours!

A few of my most favorite parts of this session: Susan & David’s cute laughs, their amazing style, the architecture of the Pasadena city hall which just never gets old, those gosh darn perfect roses, the amazing diffuse light, and hearing a “that was fun!” at the end of a session :)

Their wedding will be my very first of 2014 {just 4 days into the new year!} and I can’t wait!
