{ katherine + jason | casa romantica wedding }

Surprise, I exist! My apologies for the random blogging hiatus – lots of weddings and shoots have been happening in that midst of it all & blogging unfortunately took a temporary backseat. September (which is somehow almost over, what?) has been filled to the brim with some of the most creative & heartfelt weddings and I can’t wait to share! But for now, one more from summer :)

Katherine & Jason were married at the beautiful Casa Romantica, a historical estate nestled in the cliffs above the sea. It was the perfect backdrop for an intimate day filled with their closest family & friends. Katherine poured her heart into the details, many of which centered around a travel theme since Jason sells planes (P.S. how amazing are those lantern centerpieces?)

But on to the eye candy…

I LOVE the way tables like the sign-in table and the one below were laid out… a mish-mash of beautiful objects and lovely flowers. It gave everything such a colorful organic feel!

{ ingrid + robert | summit house wedding }

Ingrid & Robert were married at the beautiful Summit House last month. The light at this venue is always amazing! Their day was filled with a wonderful blend of tender moments and fun silly ones – I love a night that ends with some crazy dancing & this wedding most definitely did not disappoint! I also adored the soft color palette & details, especially the whimsical centerpieces (sweet peas? are they sweet peas? I love them.)

Enjoy this peek into their day!

{ colleen + keean | occidental wedding }

Colleen & Keean were married at the beautiful Occidental College, the very location where their relationship began and grew. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – we are ridiculously lucky to work with couples who are so in love… because with all the kissing & the smiling & the laughing & the tears, the photos desperately want to make themselves :)

The warm summer day was accented with the juiciest {quite literally} color palette.. bright tangerines & greens, with real fruit incorporated into the crisp arrangements. I had seen citrus decor before, but the talented & creative Kim of Art with Nature also incorporated kiwis & grapes for unique centerpieces that quite literally looked good enough to eat. Beware.. these detail shots might just make you crave something delicious & citrusy :)

Thank you to Kim for introducing us to Colleen & Keean, and to the amazing couple for inviting us to photograph their special day!

Such a sweet first look…

LOVE all the lush roses on the cake…
