How exciting is it that Stacy & Brian were married over the same Palos Verdes cliffs where they sat some 10 years ago, talking and getting to know each other just as friends? And that despite having 10 years under their belt, they glance at each other with such sparkle and adoration, as if they’re seeing each other for the first time? And that we had the most perfect weather on their wedding day, a day that was filled with an overjoyed group of family and friends, and tons of thoughtful details (like tangerine escort cards, and a grilled cheese station!!)

I felt so honored to document their wedding day, and also to have the opportunity to work with a seriously fantastic team of vendors, including Ngoc of Skybox Event Productions, Linda of LV Floral Events, and the ever talented Kelly Zhang.

Be sure to check out more from this beautiful wedding in Ceremony Magazine!

It’s an exciting day! So happy to share that this gorgeous wedding was featured in Ceremony Magazine! Ceremony releases an issue but once a year, so it’s a true honor to be included among the pretty pages of the 2013 issue!

So many sweet touches filled this day and so many wonderful vendors were involved – stay tuned for I will be sharing more loveliness soon!

It’s a funny thing how the rain works on wedding days. It rained all day before, drizzled throughout that morning, but literally let up exactly as Cecile and Volt were exiting their car upon arrival at the yacht. We ran straight up to the deck and were able to get lots of sweet photos in that soft pretty light.

But! Even if the entire day had been wrought with downpour, even if it had been snowing and hailing, Cecile & Volt are the kinds of chill happy people who would make the best of it. They’d perhaps crack a fun joke, ask me where I wanted to shoot, and cuddle & smile for the camera like nobody’s business. They are a seriously cool couple, and I’m so so thankful and happy that Shirley of Fresh Events Company introduced us! And as always, her and her team did an impeccable job orchestrating this gorgeous wedding. A shoutout to Le Petite Gardenia as well, for the beautiful and always creative florals!
