This session has seriously stolen my heart. Jess & Raj wanted a look for their engagement photos that was dramatic & editorial, but still soft and romantic, and collaborating with them on this shoot was so much fun! We began at the Pasadena City Hall with it’s stunning architecture and perfect light, and finished up at the historical Langham. I often find I prefer shooting outdoors, but the photos inside the regal Langham hotel room are some of my favorites!

How special that we were able to photograph on the historic 6th Street Bridge just before they stated tearing it down for replacement! I was so excited that they chose this location and we were able to capture a beautiful piece of history in Paula & Eric’s engagement photos. We had some unreal light to work with and of course I was so in love with Paula’s dreamy & ethereal dress. I don’t know how I get so lucky to work with so many sweet and kind couples, but these two are no exception and the afternoon was so much fun!

So excited for their intimate wedding coming up this spring!

There’s just so so much happy in this session and I love every last bit of it! My heart will never tire of colorful details and documenting sweet love like this. Vanessa & Bryan are both so down to earth and shooting them around the Santa Monica pier with it’s pretty pretty light was so much fun.
